What We Offer

At East Cooper Newcomers Club, all women are welcome! You'll see that spirit at our regular Activities and Monthly Luncheons. We also host a casual Welcome Coffee each month---it's a great way to meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces.

If you are thinking about joining, come visit us at one or two of these monthly events. After two visits, we hope you'll decide to become a member!

We offer fun outings like day trips and local tours every month, plus a variety of Activities and Clubs to match our members' different interests. It's all about helping you meet people and make new friends.

*If you would like to attend an activity which is not currently offered, consider becoming a Leader and getting others engaged!

The Club runs on volunteer energy - Board Members, Activity Group Leaders, Coordinators and Hostesses are all volunteers. Please join in!

Our Philanthropy Chairperson and committee bring members information on selected nonprofit organizations where we may 1) serve as volunteers, 2) support a project, or 3) donate via a donation drive (food, hygiene products, wish lists, etc.), and upon Board approval will coordinate the execution of these activities. At the end of each fiscal year the Philanthropy Chair and committee identify local charities in need of financial support and make recommendations to the Board as to who to consider for financial donations from ECNC funds (ECNC is not a 501C3 and does not fundraise). The Membership Chairperson reaches out to our own members needing support due to illness or family circumstances through our 'Caring Committee'.
