"Up Close and Personal at the Olympics"
We are delighted to welcome Rowan Carroll, an Olympic historian from Daniel Island to our Monthly Luncheon in October. A passionate interest turned into a four decade experience that began for Rowan with his first visit to the Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1984. Recently returned from his ninth visit to the 2024 Paris Olympics, Rowan will share some history, highlights, human interest stories, and personal observations of his adventures as an Olympics spectator. If you've never been in person to the Olympics, here's your chance to find out what it's like!
